GBTS Support Electronics Engineer

For one of our aerospace customers, TXT is looking for a Ground Based Training Systems (GBTS) Support Electronics Engineer.

GBTS is made of:

Computer Based Training (CBT) for the training of pilots and maintainers;

Simulation Based Training (SBT) for the procedural training of pilots;

Flight Training Device (FTD) for pilot training;

Mission Planning and Debriefing Station (MPDS) to support both students and instructors in the planning and debriefing phases;

Virtual Maintenance Training (VMT) for the training of maintainers.

Main responsibilities:
Hardware system efficiency management;

Recording and communication of any snag/bug regarding all GBTS components;

Management and maintenance of systems both at hardware and software level;

Specific tests for fault isolation / troubleshooting purposes;
Support for the drafting of Operating Manuals;

Reporting of the activities performed and the problems encountered.

Requirements:
Troubleshooting ability of electrical problems;

Knowledge of motors, actuators and electric sensors;

Ability to perform electronic repairs;
Good knowledge of Office Suite;

Good team work member.

Degree required: Master's Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar.
